BAttlefield - Console commands???

I was wondering if there is a command prompt to reduce the size of the crosshairs on Battlefield 2 with the console?

too the person that replys to this can you also tell us what other commands you can do to change things like this. I have a feeling you cant but would be nice too know this.

Also i know theres a command to cap your fps but is there a way that i can make it permanant so i dont have to do it everytime i join the servers. and btw for the record who the hell wants to play an online game at 100fps? stupid EA..

Whats the reason behind capping the fps? Isn't it better to have a nice and high fps, higher the better?

On a TFT screen too high an FPS can cause the screen to tear, which degrades the quality. Capping the FPS stops this.

How high an fps are we talking about here? I have a 19" TFT and havent noticed any tearing, and usually my game runs at around 90-120fps.

Depends on the screen too, generally a good screen shouldnt really do it. Youll know it if it happens, as its annoying. You only need to sorry about it if it happens to you

the reason i want to cap my fps is because i do get abit of tearing on my Viewsonic VP171s but its more that fact that 100 is too high and my fps then drops and when it does that it gerks, i know the command now and its 'game.lockfps' and to show fps its 'render.showfps' I find on jalalalalalbad i get about 70/80 so i just capped it at that, sorted..
