What's the point? Several people have confirmed the code works and that's all you're buying - a code that you type into the main game.

The only difference in purchasing on Steam is that you get an entry for Vietnam in your Steam list rather than accessing it through BC2 itself.

agreed I have BC2 on Steam and added the code in the the game, in a way u do have it on Steam because you only use one launcher. The only thing extra u will get waiting for a Steam deal is an extra icon in your library
