Alright here I go,
I recently dug out an old copy of BFV and installed it on my new machine, The machine runs using Vista Pro 64bit edition.
First issue was that of playing this game online with a wireless connection, it would appear that Vista likes to brake the connection every 30 seconds or so - hard to wire straight into the modem from the PC to solve this one.
The game ran fine for a while but then a strange issue started, the C:\ drive started shutting down then starting back up during game play causing 10 second pause in my play (hugely irritating).
I know someone will say the HD is knacked and needs replaced (which it might, but it is only 6 months old) but it does only happen with this particular game, all others are untouched.
Can this issue be caused by Vista's love for the trees and all things environmental. I thought it may be caused by Vista shutting it down for power saving measures then turning it back on relising it is needed. This may not be the case.
Does anyone have any ideas how to sort this?
BTW I done a scan on the disk using WD software which came back saying the disk is clean
