God, How cool is this game!

I totally forgot about this game, but I've started installing games again on my new comp, but I'm addicted to it!

I remember buying it straight after release, but doesnt seem to be busy now on servers? Seems only Jolt.co.uk servers that remain busy...

Any of you like it, still play it?

:)

Not really, although I liked Vietnam, I like bf2 more because it's a bit more teamplay orientated, in 1942/vietnam nobody ever bothered to heal, repair and resupply me.

What I'd like ideally is a Vietnam mod for bf2.

Good idea, as it won't see any more improvements will it? Any yea your right in people not helping.

I just love piloting the huey helicopter

i used to play joint ops online, admittedly it looked pretty basic but compared to bf2 (which i mainly play at the minute) it had better controls for vehicles/helicopters plus the hit zones were a lot better, everytime im playing bf2 u have to hit people multiple times to get a kill, not very realistic

BFV was excellent, love the whole flying about when playing tunes, dropping napalm and the best was rolling through the map with a 3 tank convoy whilst playing "Nowhere to run to baby..." :D

Don't play it now though, or BF2 for that matter :(

Scort.

BFV got a pretty catchy atmosphere but unfortunately lacks some decent points that are included in BF2(which killed the BF series for me tbh). Shame that the creators are that clueless not to sense the idea for remaking a more sophisticated game, based on Vietnam, something in the way Medieval 2 was done in order to include most innovations from Roma:Total War.
