First off i understand this is not your typical post for here but im desperate and this is my one last attempt after a whole weekend of roads leading nowhere.

My battlenet account was hacked over the weekend , with a 20+ year old wow account included so im beyond gutted, ive also lost many other games on the account.

Trying to talk to support is impossible as their system keeps asking for authenticator code but who ever has access now has placed their authenticator on the account so i cannot even get to speak to anyone or submit a ticket.

Im in Ireland and ive been trying to contact the blizzard offices here with the phone number registered to them but im getting a message that i cannot get through.

So here i am with no way to speak to anyone in blizzard.

If anyone has any ideas what i can do from here id appreciate it.

Im of the feeling now that its lost forever.

How was it hacked if you have an authenticator?

Back in the day blizzard used to ask for cd key as proof of ownership - you'd send them a photo of the physical copy of a game on your account showing the cd key that's registered to the account. No idea what they do now

ah yeah. I missed that bit from the OP. The authenticator would stop any account hack as they would need your phone.

if you have a phone number connected to you account you can get a text from blizzard
They seemed to have changed that too.

Also yes i had authenticator which is what shocked me the most.
Getting to speak to human support these days is impossible.

Tbh the best way to contact companies these days is through their social media accounts (twitter, Facebook etc)

Failing that I would setup another Battlenet account just so you can actually contact their support team. Once you've established contact tell them exactly what happened, give them all our old details of your account, email, phone number etc and they should be able to sort it out for you. I had the same thing happen to my Steam and EA accounts and this is how I was able to retrieve them.

I have tried their socials and they sent me to the usual online system that i cannot access as ive explained.
I have however done as you suggest and made a new account and provided details via ticket .
Fingers crossed.

Success! i managed to get my account back after making a new account and then providing screenshots of past transactions for wow subs, games and character transfers.

Weird one though i cant seem to add authenticator as my phone number is used for another account, ive sent another ticket so hopefully they cant sort that asap.
