Battleship

Doing a BTEC National and need to create a simple battleship game in JAVA can anyone recommend any good specific books that will help me with creating battleships or any online material. Thanks in advance.

Theres a thread over in GD at the moment on a similar subject actually, not an awful lot of help, but might be worth a look.
