Hi all. Just got a new graphics card off of a member on here and it came with Battlestations Pacific.

Now i am in two minds as to whether install it or leave it sealed and sell it.

What are everyones views on this game? Is it worth me opening it up and installing it?

Cheers

Worth keeping. I bought this on release and had a good 2 months out of it. Plenty of SP missions and MP is still active. Game is very arcadey but highly polished and works well on low spec machines.

It's a good game, you get to command the Yamato with her 18.1" guns.... what more could you want? :p

Little bit frustrating in that the ranges involved are a bit too "close" in - Battleships can engage at around 2 miles, cruisers around 1.4miles and destroyers by around 1 mile or just under - so if you're both closing at 30kts (60kts total) the gap is often closed up much quicker than it would in reality. (Yamato's guns would reach out to 26 miles!!)

All in all though, a good fun game, pretty easy to pickup and get into and have some proper fun just wrecking stuff ;)

I just installed this & the visuals are excellent, problem is I can't turn the music off or even lower it as the Audio slider doesn't seem to have any effect even if turned right off.

It drowns out all the explosion sounds etc, anyone else had this?
