Bay question

Some of you are experienced bay users and I can't find any help on the website itself so,

If I'm selling an item, and only want a 'buy now' price to be shown, what do I put in the 'auction price' box. I can't find any option to have only 'buy now' shown - only the option to have 'buy now' added.

That was the page I found, but I'm only given the option of having both. Reading the requirements it says one of them is to have feedback greater than zero - I'm guessing that feedback as a seller and feedback as a buyer are different and hence my feedback is actually zero seeing as i've never sold anything before?

Oh, I didn't think it differentiated between seller and buyer for that purpose but maybe you are right.

So you don't have the fixed price tab?

I'm assuming you've been a member for longer than 14 days?

I do have the option of adding a fixed price, but I don't have the option of removing a bidding price. I've put the item up now with a bidding price of 1 pound less than the fixed price, so I guess I'll see if I can just have a fixed price on the next item I sell.

Or you could have just put it up with the same price as the fixed price?

hm I'm not sure why now, because next to the listing it's listing me as 100% positive feedback as a seller based on my feedback as a buyer. So I have no clue.
