Bay Res question.

Hey guys,

I am planning to use a bay res instead of a standalone tube in my build due to space planning.

Does it have many drawbacks as such in terms of flow and planning required to ensure that there is adequate liquid flow though the system?

no, a res is a res, it's shape bears no influence on it's flow rate

The only thing you need to consider is how to fill it, it's usual to leave some of the piping in and out the res longer so you can pull it forward enough to fill it.

Ah, I see, I would have to compensate for the fillport access.
