BB not work with filter

has anyone heard of this

broadband will not work when we use a filter but will work without one ?

the other extension which has a phone on it, has a filter but the phone line is very very noisy ?

Get another filter! Or better - use a filter faceplate on your master socket.

Are you connecting the filter to the filtered side of the other filter?

as far as i remember, there are two extensions coming off the master socket. one to the internet, and one to the phone line.

so i assume that no, the filter is on a different extension to the pc

on all used sockets there should be a filter, so it should look like the above no matter what.

could be a broke splitter so try another

the noisy line could be a broken filter, but how come the internet wont work with a filter attached ?

sounds odd.

ill have another look to make sure its all wired up as i say when i go to the location later.
