BB Speed problem

Lo all,

I think there is something wrong with my BB but i have no idea what, hoping you guys can help.

Ive 2 MB BB from Virgin, good connection with no problems in the 18 months weve had it. Playing COD2 my ping 4 days ago was 30-60, same server now its between 180-220, nearly unplayble!

Is there anyway i can check where the problem is?

How can i see if something is using up bandwidth on either PC? Ive looked in services but found nothing unusual, no viruses and used spybot to cleanse PCs. If its not my setups how can i tell if its an outside/ISP problem?

Any help gratefully received as its driving me mad!

It might be worth trying the BT Speedtest (instructions in the FAQ), but AFAIK Virgin uses DataStream, so the login won't work (and it's worthless without changing the login).
Stats (attenuation, SNR margin, sync rate) might help.
