Just wondering, i am fancing sticking a old 2800 barton on BBC Climate but it's location (sort of in a garage/workshop) means i would have to run a looong network cable outside to link it to the internet to trickle (but this is just not practicle to have it link that all day & night), it's too far/too much interference/hassle for a wifi link as i've aready tried (hence why it is not folding/bonic'ing)

If it were to say recieve a connection to the internet say every fortnight/month.. would it just save the trickles up and blast them up to the beebs/oxfords server as soon as it received a internet connection?
Or is there some sort of trickle deadline? other issue?

Assuming CC.net is like CP.net...

No there's no trickle deadline as such but on phases it will need to synch the phase information to the servers (it's about 8MB).

I run quite often with networking interaction switched off.
