Just to point up. The scientists have found that their model, for all instances, has bad initial datasets which both cause it to crash in 2013 and mean global dimming is not included.

Thus they have just sent out killer trickles to stop ALL model runs. You will see red stop messages with the error code 99

They are promising new work units sometime this week.

Ah well, Anyways just noticed were in the Top6 in the Teams not bad!

I wonder how this will affect the broadcast dates of the "special" programe in May.

Both my machines downloaded new work. I wondered what was up until seeing this. I'll let them run now but I've set 'no new work' so if they do it again, I'm gone.

I'm guessing the BBC will not be pleased. Can't be good for them with a programme scheduled for May and all the science so far now down the pan.

I removed all my bbc WU last week as they kept getting errors, i may start up again if it was a problem their end that has now been fixed.

If you happened to use the screensaver (or show graphics) then it may have been. They've turned down the graphics a bit as it was causing models to crash out with certain graphics card drivers. Also, if you've overclocked just a little bit too far, or have other stability issues, CPDN will find you out.

Hmm, i dont have the screensaver on and its done it to all 3 of the machines i had it on, all getting to about 10% then dying. Only one of the machines is OC'd. I assumed it was something to do with turning the computer off, or resetting it and corrupting the wu.
