Anyone else thought that, especially this year, it isn't even reporting news?

I'd like to use it more, but it doesn't look like there is much budget for the F1 site left, and there are just better alternatives.

Also what happened to the track guide and classic races? I liked them.

Classic races are still up, every wednesday before the race, this season they have asked each diver on the grid (mostly from last season so a few rookies wont get interviewed) for their top 5 races ever or something... It's a good way to do it this year :)

The F1 site its self isnt covering as many trivial stories as say ITV's version but its doing more insight things from people who actually know about the sport (and are more or less exclusive to the bbc too).

Depends if you think thats good or not really tough is more up to the reader. I like it how it is as it provides a good alternative to OMG FIA SAID SOMETHING every few articles

I've never thought the BBC F1 site was very good for news stories, always slow to put them up if they ever do. but it does look like they have been affected by the cuts, Andrew Benson has said that they couldn't continue with the old format of classic F1 partly because they were running out of true classic races and partly because of the cuts.

The latest one had short highlights of the chosen race and the rest were the pages created when the event was on (Seb only chose races from the last 3 years). Aparently its Nico Rosbergs choice for the next one and he has chosen races covering 23 years.

I think you can still watch the old classic F1 races though

As said BBC site has never done news, it's videos, interviews and guides.

I like itv site for news and f1 fanatic has loads of stuff but it's a pain to navigate and find anything it's a mess.

The bbc site on a whole is rubbish but the worst is their MotoGP site. fif you access the mobile version, it doesn't even tell you what the schedule is.

But yeah the F1 site is bad. Trying to find anything on the BBC site is a challenge most of the time.
