BBC F1 streaming quality

Were you watching the HQ stream?
Because if you were, then yes, thats as good as it gets.

That is pretty poor, but as good as it gets if on HQ.

there wasnt even a hq choice during the last 2 races?
i ended up just watching it on tvcatchup.com the picture wasnt much better but it was a bigger picture and the audio didnt crackle nearly everytime someone spoke....

also if you watch the bbc stream you get out of sync with the rest of the world and live timing because it buffers the race and if for any reason it pauses for a rebuffer during the race rather than missing any footage you end up seconds behind the rest of the world.....

at one point yesterday i had the bbc stream in one window and tvcatchup.com in the other and the bbc stream lagged behind so much it was a full lap behind which is annoying if your watching live timings.

sometimes you can reload the bbc stream and see the same part of the race a second time aswell lol

Weird! I keep finding the bbc stream to be about a tenth of a second ahead of the tv stream on vigin media...

Have noticed the quality of the bbc stream plummet over the last few months though

I watched one of the world cup game slast week on BBC site, and having watched the studio build up, the game kicked off, and I was already 15 minutes behind the actual game.
