Not 100% sure this is the right forum for this. Apologies if not.

Is there a way to schedule when the BBC iPlayer downloads the programs you want. I have a server which could download them during the day when I am allowed unlimited downloads, as do to my 20 GB "peak time" limit I can't really use it.

Can you copy the downloaded files between PCs, so I can watch them on my HTPC later if I download them on my server.

Perhaps, if it's anything like Skyplayer (I think they use the same Kontiki software), you could select the downloads you want to get then have the iPlayer services start during the day via task scheduler.

It's been a while since I last tried it but I think you can chnage the schedule or bandwidth used.

I'm not sure if you will be able to watch the downloads elsewhere as they have DRM markers.

I will experiment with the downloads today by taking home the files I get from work, I was hoping the DRM would be carried if the file moved, I am not trying to do anything I shouldn't, I just want to be able to download them when and where I like.

Can't see anything in the settings for scheduling downloads.
