BBC iPlayer Radio does not work on iOS 5!

BBC have updated the iPlayer for Radio. It doesn't work any more on iOS 5 and my ageing iPod Touch (Version 2 or 3?) won't update to iOS 6.

The option offered - via the BBC web site /radio seems useless - it stops after 5 mins every time. (only with iPod, not newer iPad or any old windows machine).

This was all I used my iPod touch for - any way round this known to man?

What does the TuneIn app run on?

But to be honest iOS 5 is ancient now.

It may be ancient - but Apple won't let my iPod Touch update beyong iOS5 - unless you know better?

I really only used it for BBC iPlayer radio and now it won't update that either and the web page access is useless - keeps stopping.

You can download previous versions of Apps if the version is available.

Thanks - I still have the App installed but if you try to use it the Beeb says "this is no longer supported - download the updated version" - which Apple won't let me! Round in circles!!
