How does the website know you're on 3G, anyway? Does Safari change its user agent string while using 3G, or do BBC just know O2's IP ranges?

Click to expand... Not since the latest version of iPlayer; they have now amalgamated iPlayer and the Radio Listen Again pages. Same goes for listening live.
