Downloaded the new iPlayer Channel for the Wii last night. Seems to work really well with a good picture.

But.. Does anybody know how to get rid of the Progress bar with the pause and play buttons. It sits about 1/3 of the way up the screen. and most the way across it. I couldn't get rid of it!

Tried all the buttons, Help and settings but couldn't shift it.

Yup, stop pointing the wii remote at the screen. It then disappears.

Just downloaded it, seems to work really well, only standard definition TV though , I guess the Wii can't handle HD.

It's on the shopping channel, make sure you have the latest Wii update.

It looks good, though I couldn't get a great picture as my internet was playing up.

Ah Cheers as simple as that!

I'm very impressed with the video quality, looks better than when viewed from my PC. Deffinatly higher than "youTube" Quality. I only have 2mb broadband.

barely handles youtube lol, doesnt even have enough memory for some websites

Youtube plays fine for me, and the browser version of iPlayer worked fantastic as well.

really glad they released this was getting tired of using it with the menu on the bottom sticking :P.

Plays SD content perfectly even though it says BBC HD in the top corner which is odd, just hope MS follow suite and add iPlayer functionality more streamlined like the wii.

You can set the browser bar to hide too. I really want to try this, but the latest update isn't that safe for older Wii like mine.

I didn't want to risk it so I just installed the bare minimum to run it and it works great. It's a big improvement in usability and video quality.
