BBC News 24 Speedo Cam Rant!

Hi

Sorry, just need to vent this!

Watching BBC NEws 24 and they are goign on about the "massive influx of Speedo Cams onto youtube showing people doing stupid speeds". They say its "highly dangerous and highly illegal". They had about 5 or 6 clips thoughout the report.

Trouble is, EVERY ONE of the vids showed a car driving on the right. So not was every one of the vids on in the UK, they were most probubly on the Auto Bhans, so completely legal, and probubly not that dangerous (120MPG on an empty road...).

I fully agree, doing a gaziilion miles and hour down your street is very bad, but come on BBC, at least cover it with relivent images!

If I remember rightly that was the first ever episode of the new Top Gear. The same one where they said the Citroen Berlingo was a brilliant car, and yattered on about second hand dealers and boring stuff.

Yeah, it was him who chatted rubbish about second hand cars and how the bug eyed Subaru would be a steal cos they were selling them with a discount...

I only watched it the other day. Si glad they ditched him for Captain SLow
