BBC online video

Am I the only one having problems with the streaming news from the BBC? It keeps on buffering every 10 seconds, and I am in an 8meg connection, with no downloads! It's been like this for months :confused:

its rubbish most the time

especially when score is streamed.. that does my head in.

Some of it is fine. Streaming 10 o clock news is usually fine. Other stuff is realyl bad though. It's random.

I tend to get a lot of connection issues with RealPlayer, but once I'm connected I don't have any issues streaming. Watching shows like Click and The Apprentice is a perfectly pain-free experience, albeit a little low resolution

P.S. I doubt having a "fast" internet connection matters that much, as it's more likely contention on the BBC's end of things which is causing the problems.

i have 10meg, am on by who are (or where last time i checked) peered with BBC, and its still crap - buffering every 10seconds even for apprentice.

vent - no animated sigs buddy

radio1 online streaming was bad for me this morning... No loss as it wasnt chris moyles

I've only once been able to stream the Chris Moyles show. ONCE!! And i've tried so many times, why can't the BBC have a range of streaming options?

yeah tbh shoutcast works why not use that? then ANYTHING can read it!
