My take is that the BBC's reporting on Syria has been very poor since the very start initially painting Assad as the only bad guy in town and the rebels were in no way islamic extremists, Assad was the only side using chemical weapons (even the UN if I remember correctly were saying at the time there was evidence rebels were already using chemical weapons). Their lack of reporting on the wider issues of the refugee flow into the EU tended to look more like social engineering than just factual reporting as well. I note they have went a bit quiet on that front recently with all the security issues, sex enslavement and rape in the German reception centres even before the terrorists attacks.Aye, but probably the sort of mistake that normally wouldn't be noticed and is quite understandable given the recent situation and news about ISIS etc.
It would be interesting to know what the notes he was reading from said, what the next thing to be covered was, and what he heard over the earphones as he was talking

Clearly it was just a mistake... unless you can demonstrate the BBC are presenting lies as fact across its coverage. You know to have lied he has to have intentionally tried to deceive his audience, right? Can you show that's the case, rather than it merely being a mistake? It's quite an accusation to accuse one of the most respected broadcasters in British history of being a liar...
Edit :: I wonder if Jocky McJock Alex Salmond has ever misspoken. I'm sure he has, given he's human. Shall I dig those up and pretend they're lies?
