BBC streaming with WMP and Realplayer

I'm just wondering, why is that when I listen to Radio 1 with live streaming I can chose to have it play through with WMP or RealPlayer, but when I want to listen again to any show, for example my house mate was trying to listen to a radio 3 replay, I have to install RealPlayer to used their Radio Player :/

I'm assuming there is no way around this? Surely it would make sense to be able to use either as you can chose to do when listening live.

It just means I have to have RealPlayer installed other wise

Install RealPlayer Alternative. Then use Media Player Classic to listen again. No need for the proper RealPlayer Junk.

for vista anyways theres a uk radio station widget/sidebar which works great and bound to be something similiar for xp
