BBQ Area

Had something like that left by the old owners in our last house.

Though theirs had a chimney and some kind of heat-proof silver matting on the roof and about a foot down the wall at the top.

Worked well though and kept the wind off the burners.
 
Bare in mind it will probably make the shelter smell meaty. We've had food festivals at one of the venues I work for, it's a hall with a fairly high ceiling. We've allowed them to bring in gas BBQs, and there is a smell for about a week afterwards.
