Hi all,

Can anyone recommend some charcoal. I tried some from the local shop but it burnt so quickly it was useless.

Dont mind paying extra for some quality stuff.

Thanks

Yeah it was the lightable bag stuff I had which was rubbish. Source for briquettes.... garden centre?

Planning to have a world cup bbq, people are going to be turning up at various times, so would like to have the bbq going as long as possible.

Might borrow a gas bbq if I have to :(

We've used the Weber briquettes, got them from the local gardening store. They are more expensive but they are very good! They burn for ages at a good heat, we also re-use them by chucking them in a wheelbarrow full of water to cool them down, then dry them out again.
Reusing charcoal? Wtf
