BC2 and Origin

I bought this game a while ago, retail, installed it, played it now and then.

I want to register it on Origin so I can play it without the CD, when I try to it says I cannot and points me at an EA site where is says the code has been used.

Anyone had a similar problem?

I managed to do this with Shift 2, no problems at all.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, its weird that it says it has been registered already but still needs the disk.. I'll investigate further.
