BC2 - ordering off ****??

# Pre-Order from ****.com and receive a code to access the PC BETA before anyone else! The BETA is due to start on the 28th January 2010 (subject to change). Codes and instructions have now been sent to all customers pre-ordering before the 27th January. Codes for new pre-orders will be sent within 24 hours of confirmation of your order. I pre-ordered bc2 from play y'day and from the above passage on their site - to me it reads that, as I'm a new pre-order customer, I should receive my code within 24hrs! However, it appears that people have been contacting play and theyve been told that the beta was only for those who orderd before the 27th. How can this be right????

Well if they won't give you a key, which is stupid, cancel it and get it off steam, only pain is its a bit more expensve.

Yes - I might do - I downloaded the file off a torrent so all I need is a key!!! Do you get the key instantly off steam?

Just done the same thing myself.

£34.99 isnt exactly unreasonable for a game anyway, i payed more than that for mw2 and thats just rubbish now.

Steam key is attached to the tab in My Games so yeah, you will. None of this "we'll email you, we promise" crap.

received my key via email from the same place but when i try to register it it tells me the key is already in use...

edit: just called them and they are going to send me another key

You dont need to PRE ORDER the game to just play the BETA....

Sigh..

Just download the beta as normal, check other forums which they are listing out BETA keys for FREE...
