if i play it in dx11 its perfectly fine! i don't understand why it is doing this, i haven't changed any settings, just doesn't make sense to me :S

I have also reinstalled my drivers and still nothing :S

running it in dx9 decreases load times, so thats why i wanna use that :P

Don't play it in DX9?

In all honesty, DX10 performance is reported to be better in BC2 than DX9, and you have a DX11 card that can cope with the majority of settings on highest (bar AA).

it does the same thing in DX10 as well only DX11 works, but the game just loads far too slow by the time i have loaded in people r already in the fight! :(

ill post the pics again

its all on stock, i don't think it would be a heat problem as it would run hotter in DX11 would it not ? i only run it in DX9 because it loads a hell of a lot faster, there is not much difference in eye candy id take speed over looks anyway :P will post a video of it soon

Remove video drivers, grab latest DirectX and then re-install drivers. Aside from that I don't know.

I can't see polygon corruption like that being a result of heat. When I had it with BF2 it was only BF2 that would do it. It could well be that the game engines bug has carried over and I remember seeing forums posts about it. This was with a 7900GTX though, so quite a while back! I'd be sending the screenshot to their support but just expect the usual drivers windows and inapproriate advice so they can 'rule out' stuff.

for real you guys think the card is done ? iv only just got the dam thing lol why would it be running it fine in dx11 though ? it plays GTA4 no problems at all aswell

I was getting a lot of crash to desktops and blue screens with this game so followed a few random guides that were supposed to be a fix (they didnt and I still get them). Anyway after following the said guides I started getting what looks the same as you. I ended up just deleting my settings.ini file and starting the game so it created a new one (then setup my settings in the menus etc) and this fixed it. I think I had been playing with refresh rates and stuff in the settings but forgot what it was set to before hand. I guess it might be worth a try if you have been messing with the settings? Anyway hope you get it sorted and its not the card!

i tried that as well didn't work for me

When I had this with my XFX 7900GTX and BF2 it was intermittent. I basically got fed up of it and went to XFX who were unresponsive. I then went through OcUK, got a refund and by this time the 8800 series cards were out so bought my 8800 GTS 640 and never saw the issue since and don't get it in BC2.

It may well be that the card isn't a good sample and the Battlefield engine really identifies that. Odd, but could be the case. I would try downclocking by 10MHz maybe more on both mem/core and see if that helps but I would be looking down the RMA route after trying all the driver and direct x options first.

this might sound like a silly question but how does one underclock the card ? i looked in ATI overdrive and the slider wont go any lower than what its at now lol

ok WTF i just changed the monitor port i was using and the problems gone! is it maybe a duff DVI slot ? should i contact OCUK about this and have it replaced ?

Think your cards dying. Either that or something hasn't installed right, had the same problem with garys mod.
