Got it like 4 days ago and I love it, I mainly play assault class, lvl 11 as of now and unlocked all assault weapons.

So now ive got a choice between AN-94 ''Abakan'', The one after it (forgot name) and M16A2.

Which gun is the best overall, judging by opinions ?
 
I use the AUG (one of the other ones) a lot of people use the XMPthing 2nd one..

I dont think it matters choice is auto or burst really. they all boil down to that.
 
I like the M16, if I'm playing as Assault then I would probably use this. It just has a nice feel about it. However, I was playing as Medic last night and was revived by some guy who had swapped kits with me, he was an Assualt with an F2000. And I really liked it! :D

But the G3 is a pretty good gun too. I use it with Engineer and sometimes with Recon when im not usiong the M14.

But if you're only lvl11 you will need to go up a few more levels for the G3. I think you get it around lvl21 IIRC.
 
just unlocked the m16 myself, its good but i do better with the m4 tbh (the one between an-94 and m16)

the f2000 is good at spraying at close range but is too inaccurate at medium-long, AUG is like a slightly improved f2000. The XMP thing (2nd one) is actually really good, i find that and the m4 are the best. Havent unlocked the g3 or anything yet.

There isn't a huge amount of difference between the assault rifles. If you're a good player you'll get the kill no matter which one you use. Just choose the one you like the look of, or like the iron sights and stick with it.

This. I prefer the HK416 and the M1 is nice. I just wish the G3 was better considering its the last unlock its astonishingly rubbish. Its wildly inaccurate even when firing bursts, the iron sights are rubbish. Should have been single shot or burst like M16 but more damage than the M16 and more accurate.

Thats because you're trying to use the G3 like the rest of guns (i.e. spam weapons). With the G3 you can easily take single shots because of it's low rate of fire. Using single shots down the iron sights and aiming for head makes it deadly accurate and lethal.
