BC2 Respawn Lag Fix

Can't remember seeing any fix for the BC2 respawn lag being posted, but read this thread on BC2 Forum, the solution worked for me -

I use AVG ANTI-V and set it to exclude the > C:/Users/[NAME]/My Documents/ **BFBC2** > NO MORE RESPAWN LAG

I also get the respawn lag since the patch although I'm using NOD32 for my antivirus, however I'll try adding the suggested exclusion and see how it goes.

I use nod32 and added the Gamesettings.ini and that worked for me

My Dutch clan mate has been tearing his hair out recently because of this spawn lag.

I linked him to this thread and he is one happy Dutchman as it works a treat!

He uses AVG 9.

Well it may have but l don't read the BC2 thread all the time, so i decided to give it a mention by itself. As a new thread so peep's who play BC2 and have missed it in the BC2 thread, can have the solution to the respawn lag, its no big deal!!!

if people use eset smart security or antivirus just add the settings file to exceptions

Can confirm adding the file Users\<username>\Documents\BFBC2\GameSettings.ini into the NOD32 exclusions list worked like a treat!

I added every BC2 folder i had into my anti-virus exceptions directory and it works.
