BC2 Vietnam/EADM question

i dont know if i want to order this or not...but with my new SPEC this xmas, vietnam would look pretty damn sweet on max settings

I tried to buy it on steam before EA and i got a error message saying i didnt have BC2 installed on steam ? well no i dont coz i bought the dvd version ?

so im not sure if the two are interchangable

Yeah I don't see my purchase either on EADM (or in-store) and I registered/bought the DLC with a different email address to my current BC2 logon. Will wait for release day and see what the crack is - although I would assume it comes down to your PC as an installer executable (even if the content is all there already, just run once to unlock?).

Of course you can't buy the expansion through steam if you don't have the steam copy :/

a friend of mine bought Vietnam off steam and he owns the DVD version with no problems at all..

seems to be some confusion there

anyways as mentioned i havent played for a couple months,now i keep getting "lost network connection" to servers, i never had this before

is there a fix ?

By purchasing Vietnam you are merely allowing the unlock as you already have the game installed. That is, as long as you gave your BC2 log in email address at point of purchase.
