Yea, was thinking about the tongue and then downing some water with it. Do you end up tasting it much that way?

Hmm, so if I leave it in the water for say 5-10 minutes it WILL dissolve?
 
I find them almost tasteless, it's just the weird texture and how they stick to your mouth that shocks you at first and makes them seem to taste really bad. I think the straight in the mouth method is used by most people when using small doses like 5g... like I sadi be carefull not to breath in as the powder is so fine.

Yes, give it 15 mins or so and it does dissolve :)
 
What would happen if you breathed the powder in? :eek:

Might give this a go later then, do you reckon the bcaa degrades at all being left in water for 10-15 minutes? Thinking that might be the way i'll do it.
 
You cough, really hard! and I wonder how I know that? :o can't do the lungs any good.

Some people say BCAA's don't dissolve and that they just degrade into some useless product. By some people I mean americans. I asked for peoples views on MP and replies were similar to how I thought.

How can something that degrades so quickly in water possibly survive in the deadly acid pit that is the human stomach? The americans I had the debate with had no answer to this btw. They just back tracked and said ok maybe it takes a little longer to degrade :) still doesn't answer the fact the BCAA's do completely dissolve.. so they were basically talking carp if you ask me.

Cool thanks for the link bud, Is it a good forum? Just had some bcaa with oats / protein + milk- can still taste it. Think it's going to be something I'll have to get used to!!

Will add 10g bcaa to my postworkout wazy maize shake (which is seems to be going fine by the way).

Not really mate, I only go on there when I'm really bored and have a few minutes to kill.

I honestly think you're wasting the BCAA's adding them to a protein shake. The whey contains loads of them anyway and the milk will just cancel out the BCAA's main strength which is the sheer speed at which they can get into your bloodstream, about 15 mins or less I believe!

I'd stick to during workout in water and the second you wake up to help get your body out of a catabolic state ASAP :)
 
Yesterdays training didn't go too well!

I've been in Paris for the week and haven't eaten like normal. Started with deads yesterday and after 4 sets I had to run to the toilet and puke. Finished the rest of my workout (just about). Going to use the weekend to fuel up! :D

I think I'll continue taking this amount with this 1kg and see how it goes. Oh and putting the powder in my mouth works a treat- done this 3-4 times now without a problem.
