Hi there,

I am trying to setup GB-PVR and for my Compro T200 and it keeps on saying that i dont have BDA drivers setup.

Do i have to do something special for BDA Drivers, when installing them as i installed the latest drivers off the Compro site.

Thanks.

EDIT:

It gives the reason as: "Failed to locate configured BDA capture device"

It doesn't recognise the card either.

I disabled a load of services when i installed windows, could it be to do with the fact i disabled a certain service?

BDA drivers are drivers that allow the TV Capture device to work with 3rd party media applications like Windows MCE etc.

Are you 100% sure that your device is supported by GB-PVR?

I purchased a Freecom USB Tuner a while back and was pretty miffed to find out there was no BDA drivers for it.

A few months later they appear so I think, great! Finally I can use it with Media Portal. Refused to work. Strangely, works with Windows MCE on my laptop without a single problem.

Make sure that all elements of the previous non BDA drivers are completely removed from the PC.

well you have the option to choose from a list of which your tv card is (in the config of gbpvr) or you can click a checkbox underneath saying to only shown the known detected devices.

the Compro T200 is in the list and i tried selected that but when it came to tuning it couldnt find the dba drivers.

if i check the checkbox i get an error saying it didnt find anything.

i just tried showshifter with the bda drivers and it worked fine.

btw, this was the first time installing the device so the latest drivers were installed first time.

I had this problem with MCE, wouldnt work with 2 different cards... kept saying no drivers could be found

Format + reinstall fixed it :s , even though it was a clean install previously
