I'm getting disconnections between 9 and 10pm every day, with the inevitable drop on sync speed. This happens with both the BEBox and a Netgear DG834N, so I can't even blame the Speedtouch ! Am I just goint to have to whack the SNR right up and sacrifice the speed? Tried the usual stuff of changing filters and connecting to the test socket, with no change.

Anyone got any ideas?

I had a connection problem when i first joined Be* it turned out to be a noisey line. Sounds like wind down the line, but if your not getting that, then the only other way to test (that i know of) for noise is via a quite line test. You need an old analogue telephone to do this.
Have you posted on the Be* forum as there maybe someone who has posted with similar problames

Done the quiet line test. Do you just after listen to it waiting for a noise? Sounded fine.

I spent a fair few hours trawling through google and the Be* forum trying to find a cure for my problem.

I didn't actually need to do the quite line test, as i could here noise on the line most of the time and luckly enough the BT engineer heard it when he came round.
