Any other subscribers receive a text or email recently about their future plans? I only skimmed it but i assume it's FTTC rather than full on Fibre. They re-iterated their commitment to the 'Unlimited', 'No throttling or traffic shaping' policy they currently have.

I can't wait for this to roll out. I have regularly exceeded 500GB in a month and not one complaint from them, ever. The connection has never dropped and never slowed down. Kudos to the best ISP in town.

Its FTTC, they will be using BT's equipment, unlike Be's LLU, so unfortunately the price is going to be pretty high.

Infininty is £28 a month for the "uinlimited" options
Imagining that BE will have somthing at the £30 mark or greater
I downloaded 120gb on my infininty last night :P

Servers around the world will soon be having A) Massive bills B) Very tough time sending out enough data with so many people fast connections lol.

Very envious of you chaps.

I have yes, however my exchange is not FTTC/FTTP enabled until december 2012, so my 18mb LLU BE connection will do for now

Well... the backhaul is still unknown, they might use WBC or they might use VULA and then plug into their own backhaul.

..that said, their own backhaul is being updated right now - fair enough if the average connection speed of your users is going to go up by a factor of many!

However yes, it won't be cheap. Good thing, too - I'd rather they compete on service than on price.
