BT have really upset me with their non-existant call centre and non-understanding of my line issues in the past week or so, so much in fact that I am considering moving ISPs.
In my area (Nottingham), I can get BT, Virgin, Sky, Be and O2.
I dont fancy Virgin as it is ex Ntl and I hate them, Not interested in Sky or any of their packages, leaving me with Be and O2, both offering ADSL2.
My contract with BT expires in October of this year, and if I decide to move I will pay my way out of it.....
I phoned Be today and they said I would get 6 Meg, I was shocked when he said this, as on my current ADSL line I was getting 6 - 7 Meg (until BT ballsed it up and left me with 2.5).
So I am hoping that this is underestimated, could anyone here tell me what their stated speed was? and what they actually got?
I know this will not be accurate as line speed varies for everyone, I am just looking to see if it is worth hanging on with BT and keep on hassling them to sort out my problem, or just jump ship.
Also what are people's opinions on Be in terms of support etc.....?
Thanks in advance.
