We're wanting to change ISP due to our current Orange service being really bad.

I have read about Be* and looked on their Website and the Value package is what I'm wanting, save £6.50 a month and from reading reviews their speed is what it should be as well as good latency.

When I enter our Postcode on their Website, it says that we can't receive their service, but when I enter our Postcode on www.broadband-advisor.co.uk/broadband-checker.aspx it says we can receive the Be* service :s

Could this be that the Be* Website is checking our exchange for their LLU service which it currently doesn't support, hence saying we can't receive their service?

Thanks

Thanks madman.

I've just done that and it says:

Congratulations, you are in a broadband enabled area.
However, there is another service on your phone line (e.g. ADSL, LLU, DACS, etc) that would prevent you from ordering a new ADSL connection.

The following services are available in your location:

BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
TalkTalk (CPW) LLU
EMNET Nottingham Wireless Broadband

What does it mean I have another service on my phone line that would prevent me from ordering a new ADSL connection? Is that the current Orange service we are receiving?

When I click on "Confused what's available to you" it shows Be* on that page, so that should mean I can get it right?
Due to Be* not being LLU'd, does that mean I can't get over 8mb I think I read somewhere?

Thanks

Yes.

No, it means you can't get Be because they don't offer service via BT Wholesale.
