Why do I not get a dynamic IP with Be even though I am on dynamic allocation?

I power off the router for two days and I still get the same IP everytime.

Are Be unable to provide a true dynamic service?

There is thread in the be forum but it's turned into a 'why do you want dynamic if you have nothing to hide type of thread' so not worth posting there.

Can someone answer why Be dynamic IP is the same even after 2 days. Is there a way to force release / renew the IP?

Dave I have not posted there as the thread has turned from being a solution request to one of tough cheese sort of thing.

I have just read your posting in that you suggest changing ISP.

I just changed to Be from BT. Near enough each time I powered up the (USB) modem I would get a new IP.

Is there anyway I can do that with Be or failing that which ISP (not AOL and obviously not BT) do provide true dynamic service?

I had wondered how long it would take for this thread to descend to a similar level as on the be forum.

Is there anyone who can give me a solution to this problem?

Can the bebox (any router, usb modem) be configured to give a dynamic IP like I used to get with BT?

Failing that which ISP (except AOL and BT) offer a dynamic IP like I used to get with BT?

If you can not answer either of those questions can I politely ask that you do not post unhelpful comments?
