Be Quiet RMA - WTF?

Have a Be Quiet Dark Power Pro which I bought from OCUK 13 months ago, and is now not working. Cannot find any details for Be Quiet UK to RMA this, and someone suggested contacting OCUK to ask for help, which I have, but have had no response after several weeks!

I've emailed the Be Quiet address which I found on their german website (says English speaking) but had nothing back after almost a month!

I'm a bit lost as to what I can do!! It has a 3 year warranty and I've only had it for 13 months so still well within that. Anyone know how to actually contact Be Quiet and get them to respond?

Thanks in advance!

I made a post on the OCUK RMA section on the 20th October 2010, asking for help with this RMA. It was the 16th October 2009 that I ordered the power supply from OCUK!

Posted again requesting help in the same RMA thread on the 21st November 2010.

Still today there is zero reply at all! Almost 2 months later so I doubt they are going to reply at all. I'm guessing this means I have to somehow try and track down Be Quiet directly. but just can't seem to do so.

Ah thats not very good then,i would contact them by phone then for sure

OcUK - at least see what the retailer says - always the first port of call.

The fact that you haven't received a reply is a bit poor on both OcUK and Be Quiet's reputation, but don't you have to raise an RMA through the web anyway with OcUK, rather than post in the RMA section? Forgive me if wrong, as that's how I'd always done it and found prompt and helpful responses.

^^ +1, I never post first, I call first regarding RMA, than go from there (however Kingston and WD RMA Service was great for me through e-mail)

ive tried twice on that message link and havent even had the courtesy of a reply. My power supply died 2 years into a 3 year warranty, of course if they just ignore you then it might as well be a 1 year warranty. What an awful company to have to deal with.

Light at the end of the tunnel. Here. :D

Finally I have this problem sorted. After being told by OCUK to make a RMA request on the forums, then waiting 2 years and posting countless times - OCUK finally replied and told me it's nothing to do with them and send it back to Be Quiet.

I replied, explaining that I'd tried contacting Be Quiet many times but heard nothing back, and is there any way they can help me out in getting it repaired / replaced. Anyway 3 months later they still haven't replied, so I did a lot more digging and eventually found that people just send them direct to Be Quiet in Germany. No RMA or prior contact needed.

So I sent it off, £25 postage cost and 1 week later I now have a brand new Dark Power Pro P9 850W in my hands. Bit of a nightmare to be honest but a good result in the end.

Note for OCUK. It really wouldn't have been difficult for a member of staff to explain how to send this back for a warranty replacement. Would have saved me months & months of hassle trying to get this sorted.

Thought this might help anyone searching for an answer in future.

Just do the following. Don't worry about an RMA or anything else.

Send your defective power supply to the following address: (you will need to pay for shipping - about £15 - £25 from the UK).

Be Quiet
Listan GmbH & Co.KG
Biedenkamp 3a
D-21509 Glinde

Make sure you enclose the following bits
1) A copy of your invoice (do not send the original document)
2) A description of the error
3) Your delivery address where you would like the replacement PSU sent

That't it. Assuming it was faulty and is under warranty - you'll probably get a new one in the post a week or so later.
