I changed from ukfsn last week and i changed to BE's pro package, but i am only getting on speedtest.net 11460kb/s down and 1220kb/s when i do the download test my connect jumps straight to 11000/kbs then struggles to go faster, when i signed up to be they said my line should handle 16mb.My router stats are

DSL Type: G.992.5 Annex M US 56
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,473 / 13,515
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 13.0 / 18.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 16.5 / 31.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 6.5 / 6.5
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / BDCM
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 22 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 11 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 234 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 389
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 263 / 0

Its probably my line is poor

Yeah..looking at the attenuation, you're at about the right speed.

You could ask to Be to switch you to fastpath OR (don't do these both at once) a 3dB SNR profile. This should increase your speed at the expense of possible line instability.

This is a classic example of why I suggest people get BeUnlimited rather than BePro (at least at first) - the extra you're paying each month for BePro equates to exactly an extra 100kbits/sec of upload bandwidth.

Get upload plus taken off, get a cheap netgear DG834GT (sky branded from ebay = £10-15), get yourself on fastpath and then see where to go from there. You can probably get your line to 16mbit down, 1.3mbit (rather than 1.4mbit) up.

What version is it? V3 and v4 use the broadcom chipset so they'll be good with Be (better than the bebox), V1 and V2 use an old text instruments chipset, which is awful for ADSL2+ (which Be use).

If you do use it, be sure to flash it with the DGTeam firmware for increased speed, features and stability.

It's also possible that using Annex M is eating into your downstream, but in my experience it made little difference (and similarly, I got next to no change in upstream).
