Does this seem like a good offer on a 12 month contract
cheers dan

So it's £14.50 each month for 12 months for the following;

Sky TV (Entertainment Extra+)
Sky Broadband
Sky Phone

Sounds like a good deal to me however Sky Broadband is coming overloaded and a lot of people are facing slower speeds / poor support that I am aware of.

It's true that some exchanges are becoming saturated but unlike Virgin Sky are admitting it and have upgrades planned.

Well I've been in touch and I'm all signed up

For that price it would be rude not to really

Oh and the email came from sky with my unique offer code

And the exchange is Darton (SLDR)

And don't forget you also get a £100 m&s evoucher

I am a Be customer in the same boat. Unfortunately I can't get FTTC. I kept checking that site and getting dates being moved back again and again. I have since discovered the local council turned down a planning application for the FTTC cabinet as it wasn't in keeping with the streetscape. What is frustrating is that after this they allowed a huge communal bin to be located at exactly the same point on the road.

Ive been with both Sky and Be, and would never go back to either of them. I found them both terrible. Luckily FTTC became available for me and i moved to that. I did get a leaflet through the door today, saying that FTTM is available. Now the speeds where slower than what i could get, but still 50mb download. Look into it, you might be able to get FTTM.

I haven't been offered this yet, but am tempted.

Anyone know what the cancellation charges are though? We're likely to be selling our flat before the 12 months is up.

No Sky Fibre for you?

nope not available as of yet in my area.

i currently have VM 100MB which shall be disconnected on the 16th and my Sky TV is being installed on the 12th but broadband and phone line being installed the week or so after (cant remember the date exactly) but i think it may even be the 21st.

so i am going to be without a phone line (not much of a problem) and internet (a HUGE problem) for a number of days.

switched to sky because of the amazing new customer offer through friends and family code.

its a 12 month contract which i shall cancel (unless sky offer to let me keep my existing deal) and move back to VM in 12 months time and take advantage of their "new" customer offers, then repeat as necessary.

hopefully by next time fibre will be ready.

Whats the offer? Does it beat the o2 offer?

probably

Entertainment Extra +
Sports Pack
Movies Pack
HD and 3D Pack
Sky Go Extra (this gives you 2 more devices, so 4 in total as well as download function)
Multiroom
Broadband Unlimited
Sky Talk Anytime

Sky+ HD Box - Free
Sky HD Box - Free
Sky Hub - Free

etc,etc

basically everything is top package, only thing I do not have is ESPN but it can be added anytime.

for £65.12 a month

I then went and bought a Sky+ HD Box and wireless connector for £25 from gumtree otherwise to get them through Sky would have cost an additional £220 ish iirc.

So I will have 2 Sky+ HD boxes and keep the Sky HD box as a spare or maybe even set it up as a freesat box in another room.

Dan - I have managed to get offered the same from SKY apart from the £100 M&S voucher.

I didn't get the email from Be as i have opted out of marketing. I have sent you a message via trust - any chance you could wing me a copy of the email?

it doesnt mention the voucher in the email, just the offer and my unique code for the offer

it was only when i added the pack to the order i saw the voucher had been added also

and the email came from sky not from BE
