Can you put a landline/BB package in your basket, say you don't have a landline but you want one, put your postcode in and house number, choose your address.

On the order page, repeat the same process, to the point where it says "how fast will it be". Again, say no landline, and input your postcode and house number, choose your address and press "check".

It just never completed the check or gives me any results.

Any ideas?

Yes, we provide Broadband in your area. In order to proceed with the order you need to have a BT landline number or buy one from us - /terms apply . Please try again when you have a BT Number.
 
Number doesnt work as it's not a BT line. Postcode doesn't work as its a new build (although it works on their site when actually ordering). Next doors postcode works, same exchange :(
 
I had the same problem, even phoned BE to explain the problem with the website. They couldn't activate my line which the previous occupant had used with talk talk or equivalent so in the end I just went with post office home phone where you can get a line activated without a minimum contract.
