Just moved into a new property & decided to call BE to see if they could give me a speed estimate. 5mb is what they quoted me. OMG I was hoping for at least twice that
What are their estimates normally like? Do they tend to underestimate their BB performance for potential customers?

hmm what about BT cancellation policies? I only had the line activated a few days ago when I moved in and remember them saying something about a 14 day period in which to change my mind -unless that was about the call package itself that I signed up for.
If I can cancel I will go with NTL cable or whatever instead.
