Well it seems the wireless on my Speedtouch router is lacking these days, streaming media like songs/movies to my laptop is getting flaky most files stutter etc, connected via Ethernet is fine.

My question can anybody recommend a decent router that works with Be*? And offeres good wireless speeds well as range?

Thanks :)

I use the Netgear DG834N for my Be* line. I use the D-Link DIR655 for my Virgin Line.
I can recommend both of those - both of them are capable of the draft version of 802.11n, up to 270Mbs. Just don't get that Belkin ExpressCard I was telling you about :)

Hi mate :D

Did you pick up another ExpressCard? I’m going to get a quicker wireless card for the laptop as HD content will struggle with the built in wifi card.

Yea the DG834N looks to be popular around here looks like that’s the one to pick. How reliable is it with the Be* line? I’ve being looking on various sites and it seems it’s hard to set up routers to work with Be* is this the case?

Thanks for the quick replies btw :D

The main issue with Be is that the don't use a username and password, so are not compatible with quite a few routers.

No problem connecting with the Netgear and very stable here. Hasn't gone down for months.

Ah how do you setup the Netgear router? Just plug and play so to speak? I remember looking for a new router about a year ago but it looked like a mission to set up so I left it at there :D
