Be* Wireless Speed

Hi

I am going to change to the Be* up to 24 meg service pretty soon. I will use the adsl2+ wireless router supplied by them but what I need to know is will my safecom 54Mbps wireless pci card allow me to hit full available speed over a wireless connection or do I need to change my card?

i know it's up to 24 meg depending on distance from exchange but I'm quite close so hoping for around 18-20 meg
