Debating getting one of these to go in the corner of our office room (imagine a small box bedroom with two desks in). I have my old telly on the desk so it'd be nice to have somewhere to lounge/play PC games with a controller etc.

Anyway, any recommendations? My other half is not sure and wants to get some uncomfortable looking cocktail chair. I want something to slouch in as a break from sitting at the desk, maybe to watch films/TV on if we have an argument :p She says it could look like a teenagers bedroom but I don't think that's possible given our decor etc. (dark green walls, nice walnut desks etc.)

There's a lot out there, varying in price...

1. I think bean bag chairs are naff
2. I think her suggestion of a cocktail chair is also naff
3. Who gives a damn if it looks like a teenager's bedroom
4. I'm not convinced you have space for either anyway
5. A man needs a cave to escape woman, defo get that for yourself one way or another
6. I think the standard is a leather recliner armchair in your living room, there you can watch movies / play console, and generally just sit without being hassled by the family sitting next to you.
7. Pics of girlfriend required oh it's not GD nvm.

Kick back with a bit of style instead.

Bean bags kinda ok as a foot rest or to sit on for a few minutes but ive never been able to get comfy enough one one to watch a tv program or film, plus they do take up a lot of space.

i'd rather get a small armchair type chair with a high enough back so you can get comfy

What about links to the cocktail chair?

I'd go for a full reclining armchair
or a very comfortable computer chair then it can be used for one of the desks
