About to re-assemble one of my 1.9 engines and I need/want to replace a few components as I do so.
I'm doing the bottom end first, so will need big ends, mains, rigs, liner seals and a full engine gasket set to be going on with.

Now normally I'd siomply pay a visit to my local Yoda-like old man in a brick outshouse who would conjour up the parts at an attractive price by the next day but now that I've relocated to the Midlands I wouldn't know where to start - who are the cowboys, who get the bits wrong and who's cheap or expensive.

Anybody know of any good online factors for this sort of thing? Or somewhere local to Leicester/Loughborough where I can get them over the counter.

Moss (sure it's you who works in a motor factor), can you do me a forum discount? :p

Used to live near Loughborough, and whilst i'm not sure about any Peugeot specialists, there are a couple I or others have used to get bits from.

Tanvic Spares (Derby Road, Loughborough) - 01509 611345
Six Hills Salvage (Burton on the Wolds) - 01509 880460

Engine Parts UK (01708 890494) are good, and with a bit of blagging, you can usually get them to supply you at trade prices which is even better ;)

Tanvic were good for me when I have used them. :)

Lopez - You brought your 205 up? Would be cool to see it.
