I watch Mr Beast content every now and then on YT. I can't be the only one as he's the most followed channel on YT! As per the trailer below the new gameshow airs next week in Prime video.

I recall some people sued regarding the show or something, but I think that was all ironed out and now the show will air on the 19th.

Any thoughts? I quite enjoyed Netflix's "live" Squid Game show, this looks like more of the same.

How does such an objectively creepy dude with zero personality and the most dead soulless eyes you’ve ever seen become so famous ?

He is the absolute benchmark for brainrot content. Genuinely blows my mind how anyone can stomach anything to do with him.

I guess I can understand little kids and young teens watching his content but the idea that people over the age of 18 can consume his content is just mind blowing to me.

He’s just a glorified Timmy Mallet

You're asking this in a world where a woman got railed by 100 guys in 14 hours, and plans to follow that up with 1000 in february and thinks that's ok?
 
Myself and the kids, wife dabble a few episodes, over the last few days. Pretty good to be honest. Very 'USA, USA' , some over long interludes, but over all, good, fun game show.
I liked the +5m coin flip, and the first time guess on the case on the last game was quite something.

Someone said about him being a serial killer/peado type. yea I can see that. However, give him his due, he has built something. Something I couldn't do. Fair play to him.

Living up to your name I see! (Tongue in cheek joke)

I find him really weird, there was also controversy regarding him hiring someone that was grooming kids. I'm a benefit of the doubt sorta guy, but I don't for a moment believe he wasn't aware given how close and supportive he was of the person in question.

As for the content itself, I gave the first episode a watch out of morbid curiosity and it's reality tv slop at its worst. Like others have mentioned I have no idea why he's popular, he comes across as a zero personality creep at best. Reminds me of cheap dodgy salesmen we all used to dodge in the likes of Curry's or any car dealership back in the day.

Is anyone watching Season 2?

I really enjoyed the entertainment of the first season, but so far I feel 2 hasn't given us much more than a few fitness challenges to watch
 
Watched the first part last night and had to turn the volume down. :cry:

I also enjoyed the silliness/entertainment of the first season and hope this season is the same.

Can see/hope there are some ability reverse games.

He was smart, he got in early, doing something no one else was doing on YT and then he put his own money back into it making more content.

I doubt there is anyone on this forum that has built a half billion pound brand from nothing.
