Beastgrip for phones

I have been wanting to get a camera to play about with for a while but just couldn't justify it

so I'm now toying with the idea of a beastgrip (http://www.beastgrip.com)

looks pretty cool in my eyes, It will let me play around with lenses and take some more interesting shots on my Lumia 1020.

anyone ever seen this or used one?

Buy a 2nd hand compact.. Looks like £50 wasted to me.

It's still going to be a phone no mater what you strap to it..

I don't see what id gain from a compact though, I mainly want it for some macro fun
