Tbh, I'd have thought people would realise that 2.5% of their income after taxes (i.e. cash in had) = a lot.

+1 .... it's another thing people are simply going to factor into the "do i really need it, or will what i already have do the job fine for a little while longer" side of their purchase

I'd like a nice 42 or 50 inch plasma tv, and i've been sat there looking at them wondering if it really is something i need, or if the 32" CRT tv i have will last me a little while longer, bearing in mind how much i use it, compared to stuff i watch on my 27" PC monitor.
